When you contact us or submit a volunteer, event, partnership, or research form, we may receive your name, contact information, location, interests, availability, consent selections, and the answers you choose to provide. Our service providers may also collect ordinary technical information such as device, browser, and security logs.
How we use it
We use information to respond to requests, place volunteers in the right program, organize events, send requested updates, protect our systems, meet legal obligations, and improve our civic-education work. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and disclosure
We may share the minimum necessary information with vendors that operate forms, email, texting, hosting, or security for us. Those services have their own policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of an organizational transition with appropriate safeguards.
Communications, retention, and security
You may unsubscribe from newsletters using the link in any message and may request changes to your contact preferences. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal compliance, and recordkeeping. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Children and external links
Our forms are not intended to collect personal information directly from children under 13. Links to government records, social platforms, Jotform, and other third-party services are governed by those providers.
